ADMISSION INFORMATION AT A GLANCE
For All Undergraduate Programs – Fall 2011 Trimester
Applicants seeking admission in Undergraduate Programs of Stamford University, Bangladesh should remember the following information:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:
· To apply for admission minimum required GPA is 2.5 both in S.S.C./equivalent and H.S.C./equivalent.
· Minimum 3 subjects in O-Level and 2 subjects in A-Level with a minimum grade of C.
· Applicants who have passed their S.S.C. within 2006 are eligible to apply. Applicants who have passed S.S.C. before 2006 are not eligible to apply.
· Applicants of Engineering programs must have mathematics in H.S.C. level.
· Applicants of Pharmacy program must have biology and mathematics in H.S.C. level.
ADMISSION TEST:
Applicant has to be qualified in Admission Test which includes written exam as well as viva voce.
Written Test: Distribution of marks is as follows:

DIRECT ADMISSION:
Students who meet the following criteria will have to face a viva voce to get themselves admitted directly:
| For BBA, Pharmacy & EEE | : Total GPA 7.50 or above (Adding the GPA of SSC & HSC) |
| For Others Program | : Total GPA 7.00 or above (Adding the GPA of SSC & HSC) |
| Note: All directly admitted students would have to attend the Placement Test** on English. Students seeking scholarship on the basis of performance in admission test can sit for written test. | |

FOUNDATION COURSE:
Foundation course of English is mandatory for those who will not be able to secure above 50% marks in English section of Admission test / Placement test.

TUITION FEE PAYMENT POLICY:
100% course fee of a trimester is to be paid at the time of course registration i.e. before the enrollment of a trimester.
SCHOLARSHIP:
Scholarship will be awarded to the students on the basis of merit list in Written Test for the first trimester only and on the basis of merit list of Trimester Final exam result from the second trimester and onwards (excluding last trimester).

· If job experience certificates are found fake, the credit hours exempted earlier will be cancelled.
